The Glass Between
“The Glass Between” is a reflective coming-of-age short film that follows Maddie as she examines her high school journey through the lens of identity, perfectionism, and faith. Set between cinematic memory and museum-like stillness, the film blends narrative scenes with documentary-style reflection to explore the pressure of constantly performing and being ‘on display.’ As Maddie steps out from behind the glass—through friendship, heartbreak, achievement, and grace—she finds the freedom to live as her full, imperfect self. This is a story about learning to breathe, be, and belong. Not for applause, but for peace.
The Odds of Love
The Odds of Love follows a 17-year-old girl as she reflects on the overwhelming odds of finding a soulmate after a personal loss. Struggling with the concept of fate, she encounters a mysterious boy who challenges her beliefs. Through their unexpected connection, she begins to reconsider what it means to find "the one" and the role choice plays in love. This heartfelt story explores the complexities of love, fate, and human connection.

For the 2023 - 2024 HOSA PSA competition, Maddie and her group created this impactful 30-second PSA diving into the critical issue of fentanyl dangers.

For the 2022 - 2023 HOSA PSA (placed 2nd at their regional competition), Maddie and her group created a chilling PSA about the importance of mental health and talking to friends and family.
A Fatal Breath
In this suspenseful short film, the plot revolves around the enigmatic death of high school student Isaiah Conrad, prompting the determined protagonist, Christy, and her friends to unravel the haunting circumstances behind his demise. As tensions rise and suspicions intensify, the narrative skillfully navigates the intricate layers of a mystery that keeps the audience on edge until the final reveal.
